Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and experience in HVAC system design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
- Participate in the design, development, and modification of mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards, and guides.
- Prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.
Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in producing HVAC load calculations, ductwork design, and equipment selection for nuclear HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of ASME AG-1, ASHRAE, SMACNA standards, and experience with DOE Nuclear Cleaning handbook and guides.
- Must have the right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
