Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or stroke/CVA regain functional capabilities in their natural home and community environment.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing evaluations and developing treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Regularly reassessing the effectiveness of treatment plans and attending staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Performing discharge evaluations and making recommendations for home and community safety, as well as providing referral and education resources
  • Communicating patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • A current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where you will be practicing
  • Current CPR certification
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses (preferred)
  • Effective communication and professional interaction skills
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and perform other physical demands of the job
