We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead our nursing team at St. Mary's Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and evaluating patient care activities, leading and motivating staff, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Direct and evaluate patient care activities in the surgical services department
- Lead and motivate professional and ancillary staff to develop their practice, knowledge, and skill base
- Coordinate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
- Current RN licensure and BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lead and motivate staff, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
