The IT Service Desk Coordinator will manage technical challenges to ensure swift service restoration or appropriate escalation. Serve as real-time escalation points for customer, technical, and administrative matters. Deliver tier 1 remote desktop assistance and collaborate with tier 2 desktop support personnel to escalate complex issues. Follow up on all incident reports. Proactively create technical documentation in the form of knowledgebase articles. Conduct infrastructure monitoring and manage Event Management processes. Initiate event response protocols when necessary. Participate in or lead major incident responses, such as engaging appropriate communication channels or facilitating a conference call.

This role is designated for the 2nd shift and will be a hybrid position.

What We're Seeking:

Education and Experience Required:
  • Associate's degree
  • Some experience in customer service or information technology
  • In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of relevant education and necessary work experience will be considered

  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Capability to:
    • articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences at all levels
    • identify problem areas and suggest necessary modifications
    • mediate between technical teams to achieve timely resolutions
