Job Summary

Enterprise Community Partners is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Loan Fund's operations by working closely with the Loan Fund's Chief Credit Officer, Director of Credit, Loan Officers, and Asset Managers to manage relationships with customers and closely monitor the performance of assigned loans and underlying projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of loans, primarily acquisition and construction loans in New York City.
  • Provide financial analysis of existing borrowers/guarantors, complete portfolio reviews, and make recommendations for modifications.
  • Assist with workout plans for trouble loans as necessary, review loans for covenant compliance, and review construction draw requests.
  • Manage construction budgets and perform site visits.
  • Produce financial analysis of both for- and non-profit sponsors and/or guarantors, and support Loan Officers and Asset Managers with tasks such as due diligence reviews and evaluations.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a related field, such as real estate-based or affordable housing finance.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, real estate, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Experience with construction lending and processes, as well as proficiency in analyzing financial statements of nonprofit and for-profit organizations and real estate property operations.
  • Knowledge of the loan closing process and loan documents utilized in real estate transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong computer aptitude skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
