Safety Specialist

Fives Group is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

This role involves managing plant personnel to achieve EHS goals and objectives, working closely with all levels of personnel across departments. The successful candidate will communicate externally with OSHA, contractors, and compliance agencies.

  • Coordinating Health and Safety activities.
  • Managing environmental risks.
  • Liaising between local manufacturing and maintenance organizations.
  • Developing good working relationships with federal, state, and local authorities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in safety or environmental science and 3-5 years of EHS experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. A Master's degree and EHS related accreditations are preferred.

This position involves moderate exposure to risk of accident and requires following basic safety precautions. Work is performed in a shared work environment divided between the outdoors, on the shop floor, and a typical interior office space.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
