Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist

At The Vitamin Shoppe, we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory affairs department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international regulations and managing the documentation process for product registrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Request, collect, and maintain documents related to product registrations, including interactions with external vendors.
  • Prepare international dossiers for new product submissions to local Ministries of Health, adhering to country-specific regulations.
  • Legalize regulatory documents as needed and apply for FDA required documents.
  • Track regulatory submissions to ensure timely approvals and provide additional documentation if required.
  • Manage a structured database for regulatory documents and international product registrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with product transfers, label revisions, and product statuses, updating country assortments accordingly.
  • Provide strategic assortment selection by category for new SKUs and attend regulatory meetings.
  • Create timelines and monitor progress, generating reports on regulatory advancements.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or BA/BS degree in administration, life sciences, international relations, or documentation.
  • 2-5 years of product development experience, with a minimum of 2 years in domestic/international regulatory submissions and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Preferred knowledge of GMPs, COAs, and FDA Certificate of Free Sale, as well as experience working with Foreign Ministries of Health for registration of health and/or dietary and food supplement products.
