We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist II to join our team at Christian Living Communities. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including billing, bank reconciliation, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations
- Prepare and maintain resident accounts, ensuring accurate recording of disbursements, billing charges, receipts, and adjustments.
- Perform Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party billing.
- Maintain company cash accounts, accurately recording changes and adjustments in relevant documents.
- Reconcile receivables with external vendors.
- Customer Service
- Provide information to residents, their family members, and third-party vendors regarding accounts.
- Actively participate in communities' monthly Triple Check processes.
- Leadership and Development
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and development of assigned staff.
- Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounts receivable in a healthcare facility.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity and knowledge of computer software.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Physical Requirements
- Physical effort generally not required.
- Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
