Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Mountaire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Wastewater Treatment Systems: Ensure the smooth operation of our wastewater treatment systems, including the management of chemical dosing, pumping, and other processes.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Compliance and Recordkeeping: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of treatment processes and system performance.
  • Process Control and Lab Work: Perform process control lab work to ensure the quality of treated wastewater and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of wastewater treatment equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations, including a Level II WW license.
