This role requires a highly skilled and experienced paralegal with a strong background in trademark prosecution and enforcement. You will provide critical support to our trademark partners, associates, and other team members, ensuring the smooth execution of trademark-related tasks. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be essential in managing multiple deadlines and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and filing of U.S. trademark applications and related actions with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
  • Conduct trademark clearance searches and coordinate foreign clearances as needed.
  • Manage trademark dockets and provide reminders to attorneys, participating in regular docket meetings.
  • Communicate with clients regarding prosecution, enforcement, and clearance matters.
  • Liaise with foreign agents regarding foreign filing requirements and invalidation, cancellation, or enforcement actions.

Requirements:

  • Experience with trademark clearance searches using online tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask, managing multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Madrid Protocol and WIPO filing rules and processes.
