Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to an assigned group of patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Planning
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop comprehensive care plans, addressing physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional needs.
    • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to establish realistic goals and outcomes.
  • Care Delivery
    • Administer nursing care, adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Monitor patients' conditions, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Education and Support
    • Provide education and support to patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare teams.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Experience
    • Clear/Active RN licensure in the state of Florida.
    • BLS - American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
    • ACLS American Heart Association.
    • NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
    • Two (2) current years of Acute Care experience in PCU or ICU.
