About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to an assigned group of patients. You will plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care while providing a holistic view of each patient's physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional status.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop comprehensive care plans to meet identified patient care outcomes
  • Administer nursing care while following established objectives, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain adequate supplies
  • Collaborate with peers, patients, and families to provide education and support
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support service excellence and a healing environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred
  • Clear/Active RN licensure in the state of Florida
  • BLS - American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
  • ACLS American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • Two (2) current years of Acute Care experience in PCU or ICU
