Candidates must hold certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), as well as a Louisiana State License for Radiologic Technologists.
Job RequirementsApplicants must have experience in Nuclear Medicine, with a strong background in Cardiology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures in a Radiology setting.
Schedule and Unit InformationThe successful candidate will work on the Nuclear Medicine unit (763) at Rapides Regional Medical Center LA, with a schedule that includes day shifts with one supervisor and two technologists, as well as night shifts and rotating call nights/weekends.
Preferred Skills and PersonalityWe are seeking an easy-going individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced medical setting.
Additional RequirementsCandidates must be able to work with a variety of equipment, including GE systems, and be proficient in electronic medical records (EMR). A strong understanding of patient ratios and unit guidelines is also essential.
