Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality and efficiency of clinical services within the facility.
  • Establish and implement medical protocols and assist in clinical decision-making.
  • Provide direct patient care and collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, ensuring adherence to established policies.
  • Act as a liaison between medical staff and organizational leadership.
  • Monitor compliance with medical and clinical policies among assigned staff.
  • Provide backup call coverage as needed.
  • Participate in the training and development of healthcare personnel.
  • Conduct patient assessments and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) is required.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a Medical Director role is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
  • Current DEA credentials for prescribing controlled substances.
