Job Title: Clinical Coordinator

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our transdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient flow and coordinating activities and communication for the unit during your assigned shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient patient care delivery to all patients on the nursing unit
  • Coordinate activities and communication for the unit during assigned shifts
  • Work collaboratively with a transdisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3 years of experience providing care in an acute care or inpatient rehab facility
  • Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, and clinical skill mix (preferred)
Education and Certifications:
  • Graduate of an approved RN nursing program; BSN preferred
  • RN licensure in the Commonwealth of VA
  • AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent
  • CRRN, CBIS, or other nursing specialty certification or willingness to acquire within defined parameters
