Sales Coordinator Job Description

At Smith and Vandiver Corporation, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by providing administrative support, managing product development processes, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full sample process lifecycle, working closely with sales and lab teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Manage product development entry and task management, ensuring seamless communication between sales, lab, and purchasing teams.
  • Document requests, both internal and external, to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient decision-making.
  • Cross-functional work as needed to support the sales team and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

  • Ability to function as part of a multi-discipline project team.
  • Self-starter with willingness to expand expertise and skill base.

  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite.
