SALON MANAGER OPPORTUNITY

Are you a natural leader looking to unleash your potential in a dynamic and supportive environment?

As a Salon Manager at Cost Cutters, you will be the heartbeat of the salon, responsible for managing all operations and providing leadership and tools for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead by example, helping your staff increase their clientele and the business.
  • You will focus on the profitability of the salon and teach stylists the ins and outs of business.
  • You will set the example and provide all hair care services offered by Cost Cutters, ensuring the highest quality for each guest.
  • You will act as a coach and mentor, bringing out the best in salon employees and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • You will hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • You must lead by example, with customer service at your core and the ability to resolve challenges with professionalism.
  • You must be able to bring out the best in others by being the best yourself, training, developing your team, creating a positive work environment, and providing guidance on business and technical competency matters.
  • You must have a current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
  • You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • You must be tech-savvy and able to perform administrative tasks.
  • You must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • You must be available to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • You must have good eyesight to observe a guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • You must be comfortable with lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs.
  • You must be okay with fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.
