Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner, a current Louisiana APRN license, and at least one year of experience in advanced practice nursing. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of ethics in maintaining patient confidentiality, and excellent analytical skills to assess and evaluate patient needs.
Responsibilities:- Provides patient care services by independently and interdependently scheduling, supervising, and/or conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Participates in the delivery of direct patient care within the scope of authority granted by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and following the AHL protocols and standards.
- Assumes the responsibility of routine exams, utilizes skills in providing diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems, and provides care focused on health risk factor reduction.
- Ensures efficient and effective patient care through collaborative planning and problem-solving with center staff.
- Current Louisiana APRN license.
- Master's degree with a concentration in the respective advanced practice nursing specialty from an accredited college or university.
- Certification by a nationally recognized certifying body.
- At least one year of experience in advanced practice nursing.
