Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Coordinator for our Residency Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the program, ensuring seamless operations and excellent communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of current and alumni staff, including database and hard copy files.
  • Coordinate the evaluation process for faculty and residents, ensuring timely completion and feedback.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, faculty, and staff, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Manage the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Coordinate the completion of the Program Information Form (PIF) for ACGME site review, preparing the department, faculty, and staff for site visits.
  • Act as a liaison between resident and attending staff, coordinating semi-annual reviews, graduation, and scheduling of Morning Report Assignments.
  • Oversee the budget for the residency program, originating voucher payment requests and monitoring residency payroll.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring the proper filing system is in place and Mini-Cex evaluations are collected and filed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Relevant office experience in an academic healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Knowledge of graduate medical education, recruitment, and accreditation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
