Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Good Samaritan Medical Center as a PACU Nurse Per Diem Days. As a key member of our post-anesthesia care unit, you will provide direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients after receiving anesthetic agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care and serve as a patient advocate throughout the post-operative experience.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Education

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certifications

Required:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification (preferred, to be obtained within 1 year).

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a PACU Registered Nurse with ICU/ER experience.

Additional Requirements

Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
