Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that handle data access, processing, and analytics. They will work closely with data scientists and data analysts to understand data requirements and design efficient data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Python, Scala, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement and integrate data access layer technologies such as Databricks, iQuery, Global Search, API, and File Browser.
  • Apply knowledge of automation tools to streamline data-related processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for software applications, workflows, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 5 years of experience; Master's Degree and 0 to 3 years of experience; 8 to 10 years with no degree.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience in full stack, data-centric software development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with languages and technologies such as Python, Typescript or JavaScript, React, ElasticSearch, SQL, and graph databases.
  • Experience with modern web design and implementing UI/UX requirements via responsive frameworks and design systems.
  • Experience using DevOps tools to deploy and maintain cloud-based containerized services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Palantir products for data manipulation, correlation, and visualization.
  • Experience using the Power Platform Suite, including Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with data engineering projects supporting data science and AI/ML workloads.
  • Active Security+ Certification.
