Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections to detect potential issues.
  • Mount, balance, and rotate tires as required.
  • Assess tire tread depth and recommend replacements when necessary.
  • Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and fuel filters according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Test vehicle batteries and replace them as needed.
  • Advise customers on brake services and replacements as necessary.
  • Accurately document all services performed and maintain service records.
  • Inspect brake systems for wear and damage.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a technician, especially in quick service or express maintenance, is preferred.
  • Skilled in executing routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire services.
  • ASE certification or relevant automotive maintenance certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong customer service abilities with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with fellow technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
  • Capability to identify and address basic automotive issues during inspections.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background checks.
