Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process prescriptions, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
