Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Brook Farm Veterinary Center. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, ensuring seamless communication, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.

• Provide exceptional client service, responding to client inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage client communication, including scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and following up on recommended treatment plans.
• Process payments, handle new accounts, and extend a warm welcome to new clients.
• Recommend and schedule appointments, educate clients about medical insurance for pets, and process enrollments.
• Handle stressful situations with compassion, efficiency, and flexibility, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of animal healthcare, sales processes, and dynamics, with a passion for providing exceptional client service.
