Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Brook Farm Veterinary Center. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring that appointments are scheduled and completed in a timely manner, and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Process payments, handle billing and insurance claims, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date on veterinary procedures, policies, and protocols to provide accurate information to clients and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in veterinary software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
