Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions. This position will manage the accounting team, ensure accurate financial data, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions in the agricultural sector. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, develop financial forecasts, and track performance against budgets.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including tax filings and reporting.
  • Coordinate external audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Analyze operational costs and profitability of various agricultural products.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
