We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to provide exceptional medical care to our patients in an acute care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality medical care to patients in accordance with their medical specialty
Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical history, physician examination, and appropriate treatment and/or referral
Use all available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and radiological testing, in an appropriate and cost-efficient manner
Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patient's families concerning treatment and care of patients
Participate in Health Promotion/Disease Prevention activities
Supervise Nurse Practitioners according to contractual obligations and in accordance with the RHC Collaborative Agreement
Requirements:
South Carolina license to practice medicine
Current certification by an appropriate American Specialty Board or board eligible and in process to become board certified within 12 months of hire
Completion of an approved residency program
Experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model preferred
Graduate of an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
Completion of an approved residency program in internal medicine, family practice, or pediatrics
