Key Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
  • Oversee floor and carpet care employees, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Issue supplies and equipment to team members as needed
  • Resolve worker problems or refer matters to the Manager
  • Perform duties of workers supervised, as needed
  • Directly supervise 2 to 50 employees, providing guidance and support as required
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Appraise employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching
  • Address customer complaints and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience in supervision and floor care, preferably in a facilities services environment
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability
  • The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screen, as required by contractual obligations
