About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation Lead to join our Amazon Robotics – Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the MSP QMS and ensuring its alignment with internal customer needs and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the implementation of the MSP QMS, ensuring consistency with QMS specifications and internal customer expectations.
  • Analyze and perform periodic audits on QMS process implementation to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Support the QMS Design Manager in gathering specifications and ensuring consistency with internal policies and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the MSP Safety and Compliance Team to ensure QMS implementation aligns with Safety Management System requirements.
  • Manage QMS implementation scope, budget, schedule, issues, risk, communication, and other elements as needed.
  • Implement suitable quality metrics for MSP products and ensure adherence to QMS processes and procedures.
  • Ensure QMS implementation complies with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in QMS implementation for advanced robotics, automotive, or mechatronic products.
  • Theoretical and hands-on experience in quality auditing, evaluation, and quality management system design in accordance with international standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Ability to travel up to 75% to business locations and project sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management.
  • Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment.
  • Knowledge of NRTL and/or CE compliance standards and regulations, auditing and assessment processes, including the definition and execution of quality and safety-related checklists for product, factory, and operational process inspection.
  • Strong analytical, testing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience using quality management tools and data-management software to implement Quality Management Systems based on specifications.
  • Project management skills to plan, execute, and complete tasks successfully.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and/or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
