Job Overview

This role is part of a dedicated, collaborative team focused on achieving excellence and fostering teamwork. The primary objective of our Quality Verification/Inspection Team is to guarantee that our products align with customer requirements as well as our internal quality standards. We strive for continuous improvement in our processes.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates should possess AMAT Flex and Flow build experience equivalent to that of an A-2 Assembly Technician.

Shift Details:

4am to 12:30pm with opportunities for overtime.


Key Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to this position:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to quality assurance processes.
  • Utilize advanced assembly knowledge and problem-solving abilities for all AMAT products.
  • Interpret technical drawings, wire lists, and bills of materials (BOMs) effectively.
  • Install pre-labeled harnesses according to provided work instructions.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections, verify torque specifications when necessary, and apply appropriate torque markings.
  • Complete Quality Checklists and maintain the Inspection Database proficiently.
  • Respond to production line inquiries regarding quality issues or requirements.
  • Identify and document deficiencies, and initiate rework requests as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with relevant channels when concerns arise.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

· Proficient communication skills in English (spoken, written, and reading); bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.

· Strong experience in AMAT Flex and Flow assembly.

· Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and writing skills.

· Analytical and decision-making skills for effective problem-solving.

· Familiarity with Teams, Excel, and Outlook is beneficial.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on solutions.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to calls effectively.

· Adhere to 6S practices consistently.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this role.

· This position involves physical activities such as reaching, sitting, twisting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

· Office tasks will require the use of a computer.

· Ability to alternate between sitting and standing positions.

Work Environment:

· Fast-paced production setting.

· Regular communication with Production and Quality teams.
