POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Cyber Security Compliance Engineer to enhance our proactive security measures. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive grasp of compliance and security frameworks, particularly in PCI DSS, SOC, ISO standards, and PrivacyShield. This position requires collaboration across various teams to ensure that our operations align with rigorous security and compliance protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish and uphold compliance with industry regulations such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PrivacyShield/Data Privacy Framework.
  • Conduct periodic audits and evaluations to maintain compliance standards.
  • Create and revise policies, procedures, and documentation to support compliance initiatives.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to streamline compliance evaluations.
  • Design, implement, and oversee security protocols to safeguard organizational data and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and assess security incidents, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
  • Manage responses to security incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Perform regular security evaluations, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Oversee and manage security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Configure and manage security applications such as Splunk, Sophos, KnowBe4, Qualys, AWS, etc.
  • Administer the Identity and Access Management (IAM) system to regulate user access and privileges, ensuring effective access controls are in place. Conduct user access audits regularly.
  • Facilitate security incident preparedness reviews and tabletop exercises periodically.
  • Supervise and maintain the organization's network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, cloud gateways, email servers, endpoint protection systems, Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and VPNs.
  • Conduct network vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
  • Perform firewall audits and segmentation tests as mandated by compliance standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks throughout the organization.
  • Develop and sustain risk management frameworks and processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for enhancing security and mitigating risks.
  • Conduct security risk assessments for new initiatives and technologies.
  • Deliver security awareness training to employees and foster a culture of security.
  • Assist in crafting and executing incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory developments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CHFI, Security+ or equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in security monitoring, incident response, and forensic analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
