Occupational Therapy Assistant Role

The Occupational Therapy Assistant at PAM Health plays a vital role in providing direct patient care and implementing treatment programs under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. This position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system within various facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver functional-based interventions, including ADL suites and outdoor mobility tracks.
  • Participate in a patient care model for all levels of care.
  • Contribute to continuing education and tuition assistance reimbursement options for full-time and part-time employees.
  • Provide BLS/CPR services.
  • Opportunities to work in different levels of care, such as Inpatient Rehab, LTACH, and Outpatient, within the same facility.
  • Potential to work with advanced technology and robotics.
  • Be part of a collaborative team to address patient needs.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.

Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
