Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of duties in preparing patients for imaging of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information.
- Operate various nuclear medicine equipment to produce diagnostic results and measure therapeutic radioactive materials in specific body areas.
- Monitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damage.
- Maintain and document all records as required by NRC and DEP.
- Prepare radioactive doses and materials for daily patient administration.
- Maintain quality control procedures on all equipment.
- Operate all nuclear imaging equipment and ancillary equipment thoroughly and with competence.
- Assist physician in performing procedures and computer enhancing of images.
- Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
- Training and experience in radiation safety and protection.
- NJDEP License - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech.
