About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering IV therapy and performing other nursing duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and delegation skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
