We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Academics to join our team at ACCEL Schools in Cleveland, Ohio. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting our instructional staff to ensure student achievement and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Provide coaching and professional development to teachers to enhance their instructional practices
  • Monitor student achievement data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to education
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in education, preferably with experience as a teacher or instructional coach. You should have a proven track record of improving student achievement and a passion for education. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • Active professional teacher certification
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a teacher or instructional coach
  • Two years' experience as an Instructional Coach, Teacher Leader, or other related position preferred
