POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrical Assembly Technician plays a vital role within the organization, contributing to the operational objectives of the manufacturing divisions. This position entails a variety of interconnected responsibilities aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of our production processes. The technician will collaborate with the Electrical Team to refine and establish our manufacturing standards while also fostering technical skills for field training and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assemble electrical control panels and associated components, including wiring, harnesses, and motors.
  • Participate in the design and assembly of electrical systems and subsystems, addressing any issues that may arise during production and in the electrical laboratory.
  • Interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately.
  • Promptly communicate any relevant concerns to the Electrical Team.
  • Work effectively within a diverse team environment.
  • Experience with electrical conduit (EMT, Rigid, liquid-tight) including routing and bending.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Capable of wiring lighting and Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuits.
  • Trained in electrical safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics.
  • Experience in UL 508A industrial panel construction is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PLC or DDC control systems, including wiring and system understanding, is a plus.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
EDUCATION:

An Electrical Degree from a Technical College or University is preferred.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of experience in electrical work.

Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring lists.

Experience in HVAC service is beneficial.

Must possess experience with power panels, along with troubleshooting and testing capabilities.
