Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to our infrastructure development and management teams. This includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company's infrastructure development and management goals.
- Manage employee relations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including employment laws, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.
- Provide HR support to infrastructure development and management teams, including answering questions, providing guidance, and resolving conflicts.
- Develop and maintain employee communications, including company-wide announcements, newsletters, and other materials.
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, benefits communication, and benefits reporting.
- Develop and maintain HR systems and processes, including HRIS, performance management, and recruitment systems.
- Provide HR support for employee investigations, including conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and making recommendations.
- Develop and maintain employee recognition and reward programs, including employee recognition awards and bonuses.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field (degree may be substituted for additional 2 years' experience).
- Solid understanding/experience with human resources and payroll processes, benefit & compensation administration, recruitment & onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues, organizational planning & development, FMLA/leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, FMLA etc.), performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting.
- High level of people skills and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential situations and detailed documentation.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification a plus - SHRM or other.
- Bi-Lingual- English Spanish.
