Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Development Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our child development program, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care center, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for our children, and supervising a team of child development professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of child development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor curriculum plans that align with developmentally appropriate practices and meet the needs of our children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to child development and education.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of program goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Child Development or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience working in a licensed child care facility, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading a team and achieving results.
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
