About the Role

As a Production Supervisor at Kerry, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of our production team. Under the direction of the Production Manager, you will ensure the efficient execution of the production schedule, maintain high standards of food safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent performance.
  • Efficiently execute the production schedule, ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain efficient Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with site engineers.
  • Develop and maintain a skilled and qualified production team, ensuring adequate training and development opportunities.
  • Communicate and enforce regulatory and company policies within the production team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Manage labor costs while meeting plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain a positive and engaging work environment, driving a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure products are manufactured to specification, minimizing losses and waste.
  • Manage production through KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage SAP departmental data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Maintain a high level of departmental cleanliness, adhering to company standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, such as food science, engineering, or business.
  • At least 2 years of experience in leading a manufacturing team, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement principles and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred, but not required.
