- Utilize hotel management software proficiently to manage reservations and guest records.
- Provide guests with essential information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Keep meticulous records of room availability and guest accounts.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Assist in laundry duties and ensure all areas are stocked and ready for guest use.
- Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of senior management, ensuring smooth operations.
Essential Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-5 years of experience in guest services or hospitality preferred.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to manage information accurately.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience.
- Flexible availability to meet the needs of the hotel.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that may involve exposure to various conditions.
