About the Role

As a Fintech Business Development Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with our team of experienced professionals to identify emerging trends in the Fintech and Insurtech sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing due-diligence on high-growth Fintech and Insurtech companies, including conducting various valuation analyses
  • Meeting with Fintech and Insurtech founders, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and traditional finance executives to understand strategy, product roadmaps, acquisition interests, and capital raising / liquidity needs
  • Leveraging our proprietary database and alternative data sources to identify emerging trends in Fintech and Insurtech
  • Researching significant M&A and private capital raising transactions and publishing high-quality / high-visibility reports
  • Developing high-impact, market-facing deliverables, including sell-side pitches, views on market trends, and analyses of investment / acquisition activity across Fintech and Insurtech
  • Assisting senior bankers in developing and implementing business development strategies and facilitating dialogue with CEO/CFO/Board level contacts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as finance, consulting, research, or fintech
  • A strong interest in finance, consulting, research, and fintech
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and a drive for excellence
  • Team player, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial
  • Strong data management and research skills
  • High attention to detail
