Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Working in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures
- Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology
- Graduate degree in Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist for Radiography certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
Work Schedule
This role requires a flexible work schedule, including:
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
- 6:30pm - 7:00am shifts
- Call rotation at multiple sites
