Key Responsibilities- Fulfill the needs of patients, families, and communities by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
- Apply knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
- Demonstrate the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of patient needs.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients.
- Make initial assessments and determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
- Complete admission assessments in a timely manner, according to policy and procedures.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district.
- Med/Surg experience required: 2 years.
- Registered Nurse experience required: 2 years.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program.
