Salary and BenefitsOur competitive salary package includes a base salary of $45,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionThe Recreation Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, and carrying out recreational services that cater to the diverse needs of our students. This will include:
- Developing and implementing a well-rounded program of diversified activities that promote socialization, physical activity, and personal growth.
- Recruiting and supervising volunteer personnel to support our programs.
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance, inventory control, and program evaluation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Above-average public speaking skills and experience; above-average verbal and written skills; above-average problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; computer literacy; ability to obtain a commercial driver's license and travel periodically.
- Associate of Arts Degree or one year of related experience working with youth.
- Valid State Driver's License and Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsements.
