DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a prominent healthcare institution in the Raleigh/Durham, NC region, is seeking a Senior Analyst for Managed Care Financial Strategies to enhance their team.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
  • The Senior Analyst for Managed Care Financial Strategies is responsible for overseeing the collection of data, financial modeling, and the development of customized financial reports utilizing various database systems for the Managed Care division.
  • The financial models and reports produced are essential for contract negotiations, auditing processes, and validating payment claims, thereby supporting senior leadership in informed decision-making.
  • This position also entails maintaining and auditing existing financial models within the EPSi database system to ensure precise reporting, investigating discrepancies in claims payments, and engaging in special projects related to departmental needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory - Bachelor's Degree in Finance is preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, focusing on Financial Analysis or Reimbursement
  • Experience in hospital finance is essential
