Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting a culture of wellness and health education within our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication therapy management, counseling, and education to patients and their families.
  • Ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, including verifying patient information, checking medication orders, and monitoring for potential interactions or adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other pharmacy staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Develop and implement patient education programs, health fairs, and community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in pharmacy practice, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and pharmacy operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis, process improvement, and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of patient care and pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
