Position Overview

Covenant Health Urgent Care is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient services to the South Knoxville area through our state-of-the-art medical facility.

As a crucial member of our healthcare team, Paramedics play an essential role in ensuring prompt, compassionate, and cost-effective medical assistance at our urgent care centers. Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including digital X-ray, EKG, and laboratory testing available every day of the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced medical techniques under the supervision of healthcare providers, including administering injections, performing EKGs, and providing orthopedic care.
  • Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
  • Apply medical splints and dress wounds, conduct laboratory tests, and manage the administration of medications.
  • Make a positive impact on patient health and wellbeing during each shift.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current Paramedic (EMT-P) certification is mandatory.
