Product Development Engineer

At Esri, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a Product Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and deploying projects that leverage the power of GIS technology.

Responsibilities

* Work as part of our agile innovation design/dev team to create cutting-edge XR software design patterns, algorithms, toolkits, libraries, SDKs, and demos.
* Collaborate with researchers, designers, and cross-product team members to help create, design, refine, and prototype XR software design patterns, algorithms, toolkits, libraries, SDKs, and demos that could be relevant to existing or future Esri products, applications, libraries, SDKs, custom projects, and more.
* Help evaluate implementations of XR+AI-driven algorithms and tools to determine their impact and usefulness.
* Help implement algorithms in C#, JavaScript, or python depending on requirement and optimize them to run on smart devices or other XR related hardware.

Requirements

* 1+ years of industry experience working in a software development environment.
* Ability to help design, implement and deploy projects; have experience working independently or as part of a team for larger projects.
* Familiar with agile development process.
* Swift programming with SwiftUI or Kotlin and MVVM experience.
* AR/XR experience using Apple ARKit, RealityKit or Android ARCore.
* Bachelor's in computer science or related field.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $68,640-$98,592 USD.
