What They Are Seeking

The firm is in search of a skilled and driven Labor and Employment Associate to enhance their dynamic team. As a member of their esteemed labor and employment practice group, you will engage in a diverse array of intricate labor and employment issues, representing employers from multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide spectrum of labor and employment law matters, including workplace discrimination, wage compliance, employee benefits, and labor relations.
  • Draft and evaluate employment contracts, employee handbooks, policies, and other related documents.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings before governmental agencies, including the EEOC, NLRB, DOL, and state labor departments.
  • Assist in labor and employment-related litigation, including drafting legal documents, motions, and briefs, and preparing for hearings and trials.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in labor and employment law, ideally with a focus on employer representation.
