The Accounting Manager, Business Process Excellence, SAP and Accounting, North America will primarily focus on facilitating SAP and Process Enhancement Initiatives within the North America / Corporate Region.

These initiatives may support the Global Accounting external reporting BPE teams or align with North America / Corporate Region Functional BPE projects or improvements in North America / Corporate Finance Processes and Systems.

This role reports to the Senior Manager BPE Americas and Global Lease Accounting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management related to financial systems and process enhancements, including the development of project plans, budgets, and timelines.

Proven expertise in SAP project management, S4 Hana, along with knowledge of SAP FI/CO and Product Costing is essential.

Key Responsibilities:


Act as the representative for North America / Corporate Finance in weekly Global Record to Report (RTR) Business Process Excellence (BPE) meetings, ensuring that decisions reflect North America / Corporate interests.

Communicate decisions and their implications to North America / Corporate Accounting Teams.
Lead the execution of global design projects for Record to Report (RTR) within the North America / Corporate Region.

This may involve spearheading blueprint and design initiatives, testing, coordinating User Acceptance, as well as overseeing training, security, and change management.

Identify the need for additional executional resources when necessary.
Collaborate with Record to Report (RTR) BPO on various global initiatives.
Engage with North America / Corporate Finance teams to enhance processes and systems, ensuring alignment with Global programs.

Once business needs are identified, collaborate with Mondelēz Digital Services (MDS) to assess if these needs can be met with a global solution.

Work in partnership with other regional Business Process Excellence (BPE) counterparts to ensure process and system design harmonization.
Gather business requirements and coordinate with Technical teams for system modifications and ongoing improvements.
Address ad hoc regional requests as needed.
Provide monthly close support for SAP issues during close periods.
Deliver necessary SAP training to business users.
Review and authorize Finance Master data requests.
Lead regional and global projects as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; M.B.A. preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance is required.
Extensive SAP experience is mandatory, with S4 Hana being preferable.
Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, S4 Hana, and Product Costing is required.
Strong project management experience in financial systems and process enhancements.
Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
Exceptional leadership capabilities.
A strong team player who collaborates effectively with all stakeholders.
Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to lead informal teams.
Proficient in Excel, with strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach.
Ability to analyze and manage large volumes of complex data.
Capability to work with details and comprehend business implications.
